Sites built to be found, not just to look good
A beautiful site that loads slowly and cannot be crawled is an expensive brochure. We build on WordPress and WooCommerce, and we build fully custom on modern stacks when that is the better answer, with the technical work handled from the first wireframe because we are the ones who have to rank it afterwards.
What we get asked to rescue
Most rebuild requests arrive for the same handful of reasons. If more than two of these are true, a redesign is probably cheaper than continuing to patch.
- The site was fast when it launched and is not any more
- Rankings dropped after the last redesign and never came back
- Editing a page means asking a developer
- It works on desktop and falls apart on a phone
- Plugins have piled up and nobody knows which are load bearing
- Checkout loses people and no one can say where
- The brand looks nothing like it does everywhere else
- It is stuck on a PHP version that is no longer supported
Design, build and the parts nobody shows you
Website design and build
WordPress and WooCommerce builds shaped around how your customers actually buy, with a content structure that search engines can follow.
Custom builds on modern stacks
When a CMS is the wrong tool we build from scratch: server rendered applications in Django and Python, React and Next.js front ends, and hand built static sites that ship as plain HTML and load instantly. We run all three in production on our own platform, so this is what we use, not a list we copied.
Performance
Core Web Vitals treated as a build requirement rather than a later fix: image formats, caching, render blocking scripts and the database work behind them.
Accessibility
Real contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, sensible heading order and labeled controls. It widens your audience and it is increasingly a legal expectation.
Migration without losing rankings
The part that goes wrong most often. Redirect maps, URL parity, structured data carried across, and a crawl comparison before and after so nothing quietly disappears.
Brand and graphic design
Logos, visual identity, product and campaign artwork, print and social assets. Consistent with the site instead of assembled by three different people.
Hosting and maintenance
We run our own server infrastructure and maintain the sites we build: updates, backups, security hardening and uptime. Optional, never a lock in.
We have to live with what we build
Most design studios hand over the files and move on. We usually stay on as the SEO team, which changes the incentives entirely. Every shortcut taken at build time becomes our problem in month three, so we do not take them.
It also means the technical questions get answered while they are still cheap to answer. What happens to these 400 old URLs. Does this filter create ten thousand crawlable variations. Will this hero image be the largest contentful paint on mobile. Those decisions cost minutes during a build and thousands to unpick afterwards.
We run our own properties on the same stack we sell, on infrastructure we manage ourselves, so the recommendations come from operating sites rather than reading about them.
Four stages, one fixed quote
Scope
We learn the business, the customers and the constraints, audit what exists, and come back with a written scope, timeline and fixed price.
Design
Structure first, then visual design. You approve the layouts before a line of code exists, which is when changes are still free.
Build
Built on staging with performance, accessibility and crawlability checked continuously rather than reviewed at the end.
Launch
Redirects in place, crawl compared against the old site, analytics verified, and we watch the first weeks for anything unexpected.
Before you get in touch
How much does a website cost?
It depends on how many templates you need, whether you sell online, and how much content has to move across. We quote a fixed price after scoping rather than publishing a number that would be wrong for most people. Scoping conversations are free and you get the scope document either way.
Will a redesign hurt my rankings?
It can, and it is the single most common way sites lose traffic overnight. The causes are predictable: URLs change without redirects, content gets trimmed, structured data is dropped, or the new build is slower. We crawl the existing site first, map every URL, and compare crawls after launch so anything that slipped is caught in days rather than discovered in a quarterly report.
Do you only build on WordPress?
No. WordPress and WooCommerce are where most projects land, because they give a non technical team control over their own content without calling a developer. When that is the wrong fit we build custom instead: Django and Python for anything with real application logic, React and Next.js where the front end warrants it, and hand built static sites where the content is stable and raw speed matters most. We run all three in production on our own platform. We will also tell you honestly when your existing setup is fine and a rebuild would be spending money for its own sake.
Which stack will you recommend for us?
Whichever one you can live with after we leave. That usually means WordPress if your team edits content daily and nobody on staff writes code, and a custom build if you have logic, integrations or performance requirements a CMS would fight you on. The deciding question is rarely which technology is best in the abstract, it is which one your team can still run in two years. We give you the reasoning in the scope document, not just the conclusion.
Can you just redesign part of the site?
Yes, and often that is the better call. A new homepage and template refresh can do most of the work of a full rebuild at a fraction of the cost and risk. We will say which one your situation actually needs.
Who owns the site when it is finished?
You do, completely. Your domain, your hosting account if you want it elsewhere, your files, your database and your source code. On a CMS project we use standard WordPress rather than a proprietary system. On a custom build you get the repository, the deployment setup and the documentation to run it, on ordinary Django, Next.js or static hosting that any competent developer can pick up. Either way you are never stuck with us.
Tell us what you need built
Send us the site and the goal. You get a scope, a timeline and a fixed quote, and an honest answer if a rebuild is not what you need.
Scoping is free, and the scope document is yours whether or not you build with us.
